The State of Oregon has directed that the 911 ALI Data network for all Oregon PSAPs be migrated from the existing Frame Relay platform to an MPLS-based transport system provided by IBM and CenturyLink.  In addition, the 911 voice trunk network currently provided by Frontier Communications for nine Oregon PSAPs will be rehomed to CenturyLink Selective Routers.  Carriers will need to provision new end office 911 trunks (ES trunks) for the impacted counties/PSAPs to CenturyLink Selective Routers, replacing existing trunks to Frontier’s 911 SRs.  After the migration is complete, Frontier Communications will no longer be providing 911 Selective Routing services in Oregon.  The impacted Counties and PSAPs include:

Additional Information: Service providers should plan to establish trunks to the CenturyLink Selective Routers and move their traffic to the new network starting 8/31/16 and completing no later than 10/31/2016.  Please contact your Centurylink Service Manager with questions and schedule implementation.  New trunk groups and new service providers should establish trunking to the Selective Routers as described above after August 31, 2016.
