Setup email on an Android device.

NOTE: Email setup on Android devices can vary by make and model. If the steps on this page don't match your device, try the following:
  • 1. Go to the POP/SMTP settings page and write down the settings for your email domain.
  • 2. Enter the settings into your device. Need help?
    • Android smart phone: Contact your service provider or the manufacturer.
    • Android mobile device: Contact the the manufacturer.

Setup Email on Android devices

1. Touch Applications.

2. Touch "Email" or "Mail".

3. Do the following and touch "NEXT".
  • Enter your Full Email Address
  • Enter Your Password

4. If you are presented with an Account options screen, choose the options you want, then touch NEXT.

5. You will be taken to the Inbox when your account is successfully setup.

Edit Email on Androids

1. Touch the "Apps" icon.

2. Touch the "Email" or "Mail" icon.

3. Touch the "Menu" icon in the upper left.

4. Touch "Manage Accounts".

5. Touch the email address that you want to edit.

6. Scroll down and touch "Incoming settings".

7. Enter the following, then touch "DONE".
  • Email address: Full Email Address
  • Username: Full Email Address
  • Password: Your Password
  • POP3 server:
  • Security type: SSL
  • Port: 995

8. Scroll down and touch "Outgoing settings".

9. Enter the following, then touch "DONE".
  • SMTP server:
  • Security type: TLS
  • Port: 587
  • Required sign-in: checked
  • Username: Full Email Address
  • Password: Your Password

10. Touch "More settings".

11. Touch "Manage accounts".

12. Touch "Inbox".
