Setup Qwest.net Email on Android


NOTE:

Email setup on Android devices can vary by make and model. If the steps on this page don't match your device, try the following:
  • 1. Go to the POP/SMTP settings page and write down the settings for your email domain.
  • 2. Enter the settings into your device. Need help?
    • Android smart phone: Contact your service provider or the manufacturer.
    • Android mobile device: Contact the the manufacturer.

1. Select the Applications button.



2. Select "Email" or "Mail".



3. Select "POP3".



4. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter "Your Email Address"
  • 2. Enter "Your Password"
  • 3. Select "Next"


5. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter your User Name*
  • 2. Enter "Your Password"
* If your email address is customer@qwest.net, username would be customer.
You can test your email address and password by signin into Webmail.



6. Enter pop.mpls.qwest.net.



7. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter 110 for the port
  • 2. Select NONE for the security type
  • 3. Select "Next"


8. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter pop.mpls.qwest.net for the SMTP server
  • 2. Enter 587 for the port
  • 3. Select NONE for the security type


9. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter your User Name. If your email address is customer@qwest.net, the username would be customer
  • 2. Enter your "Password"
  • 3. Select "Next"


10. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter "Your Name"
  • 2. Select "Done"


11. You have completed the setup.
