1. Do the following:
  • 1. Select "Tools"
  • 2. Select "Accounts"


2. Do the following:
  • 1. Select "Add"
  • 2. Select "Mail"


3. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter "Your Name"
  • 2. Select "Next"


4. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter "Your Email Address"
  • 2. Select "Next"


5. Select POP3.



6. Enter pop.qwestoffice.net for "Incoming mail".



7. Enter smtp.qwestoffice.net for "Outgoing mail".



8. Select "Next".



9. Enter "Your Email Address".



10. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter "Your Password"
  • 2. Select "Next"


11. Select "Finish".



12. Select "Properties".



13. Do the following:
  • 1. Select the "Servers" tab
  • 2. Select "My server requires authentication"
  • 3. Select "Settings"


14. Do the following:
  • 1. Select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"
  • 2. Select "OK"


15. Do the following:
  • 1. Select the "Advanced" tab
  • 2. Enter 465 for "Outgoing mail (SMTP)"
  • 3. Select "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)"


16. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter 110 for "Incoming mail (POP3)"
  • 2. Select "Leave a copy of messages on server"
  • 3. Select "OK"


17. Select "Close".
