1. Select "Accounts".



2. Select "Email".



3. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter "Your Email Address"
  • 2. Enter "Your Password"


4. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter "Your Name"
  • 2. Select "Manually configure server settings"
  • 3. Select "Next"


5. Select "POP3".



6. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter smtp.centurylink.net for the outgoing "Server Address"
  • 2. Enter 587 for the port
  • 3. Select "Requires authentication"


7. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter pop.centurylink.net for the incoming "Server Address"
  • 2. Select "Requires a secure connection (SSL)"
  • 3. Enter 995 for the port


8. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter your "Full Email Address" for the Logon user name
  • 2. Select "Next"


9. Select "Finish".



10. CenturyLink recommends "leaving a copy of email(s) on the server." To do this:
  • Select "Tools". Select "Accounts"
  • Highlight the account you want to edit, then select "Properties"
  • Select the "Advanced" tab
  • Check the box that says "Leave a copy of messages on the server"
  • Select "OK"
