1. Select "Accounts".



2. Select "Email".



3. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter "Your Email Address"
  • 2. Enter "Your Password"


4. Do the following:
  • 1. Enter "Your Name"
  • 2. Select "Manually configure server settings"
  • 3. Select "Next"


5. Enter the following for 'Incoming server information':
  • 1. Server Type: POP
  • 2. Server address: pop.centurytel.net
  • 3. Port: 995
  • 4. Check "Requires a secure connection (SSL)"
  • 5. Logon user name: Full Email Address*
* Gallatinriver.net email customers: Gallatinriver.net is an alias to grics.net. If your email address is joe@gallatinriver.net, you will use joe@grics.net for the "Logon user name".



6. Enter the following for 'Outgoing server information':
  • 1. Server address: smtpauth.centurytel.net
  • 2. Check "Requires authentication"
  • 3. Port: 587
  • 4. Select 'Next'


7. Select "Finish".



8. CenturyLink recommends "leaving a copy of email(s) on the server." To do this:
  • Select "Tools". Select "Accounts"
  • Highlight the account you want to edit, then select "Properties"
  • Select the "Advanced" tab
  • Check the box that says "Leave a copy of messages on the server"
  • Select "OK"
