Port Forwarding on an ZyXEL PK5000Z

What is this?
Port Forwarding allows port requests from the Public side (e.g., 75.167.134.180) of the modem to be forwarded to a device on the Private side (e.g., 192.168.0.10) of the modem.

Support for this function is available to CenturyLink business customers who purchased or lease their modems from CenturyLink. Support includes enabling the feature; it does not include configuring 3rd party devices. (ie: credit card machines, camera systems, computers, etc).

1. Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.0.1.

2. Select "Advanced Setup"

3. Select "Port Forwarding"

4. Enter the following:
  • Starting Port: (desired port)
  • Ending Port: (desired port)
  • Protocol: (desired protocol)
  • LAN IP Address (the IP Address of the device you want to forward to)

5. Select "Apply" to save your changes.
