Wireless Setup Wizard for ZyXEL 660HW

Setup Wizard

1. Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.2.1.

2. Use the default password of 1234. If you are asked to change the password, select "Ignore".

3. Select "Go to Wizard setup".

4. If you get a Window that says "Do you want to close this window" select "Yes". A new window will open to start the setup wizard. If this window does NOT launch, disable all Popup blockers.

5. Select "Internet/ Wireless Setup".

6. The unit will attempt to automatically detect the VPI and VCI being used for ADSL service.

7. You will get one of the following:
  • If the connection test fails, this usually indicates that a DSL signal wasn't detected. Ensure that the DSL port is connected to a DSL-enabled phone jack, and that the DSL light on the unit is illuminated. Then select "Restart Internet/ Wireless Setup Wizard" to retry the test.
  • If the connection test passes, it means that the unit has a valid DSL signal. Select "Next".
8. Select "Finish".

Wireless Setup Wizard

1. Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.2.1.

2. Use the default password of 1234. If you are asked to change the password, select "Ignore".

3. Select "Go to Advanced setup".

4. Select the "Active" box. Select "Next".

5. Select the following:
  • Network Name (SSID)
  • Channel Selection
  • Security
6. Enter the desired key.

7. Select "Apply". The unit may take up to 60 seconds to save and apply your settings.
