Enable IPv6 on Windows 8

1. Open the charm bar. Here are 3 different ways you can open the charm bar:
  • Mouse: Move your mouse to the very top-right of the screen
  • Touch screen: Swiping in from the right-hand side of the screen
  • Keyboard: Hold down the "Windows Key" + C at the same time

2. Select "Search".

3. Type control.

4. Select "Control Panel".

5. Select the drop down next to "View by:".

6. Select "Small icons".

7. Select "Network and Sharing Center".

8. Select "Change adapter settings".

9. Right-click on the "Ethernet" connection you want to modify.

10. Select "Properties".

11. Check the box next to "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)".
