We are going to show you how to test your DSL at the NID (telephone network interface, DMARC) which is usually located on the outside of the house.

You will need:

  • 1. Access to the NID (telephone network interface, DMARC)
  • 2. Flat head screw driver
  • 3. Phone cord (the cord from the modem kit or one that is less that 15 ft long)
  • 4. DSL modem [with power cord]
  • 5. Extension cord
  • 6. Power Outlet
